Mrs. Lily Alvis, 78, a former Hillsboro resident died Monday, Nov. 27 at a Davenport hospital. Burial took place Friday, Dec. 1 at Pontiac, Ill. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Bush of Davenport.
