Cass B. Aylor

Cass Ray Aylor, son of Henry and Elizabeth Aylor, was born Dec. 22, 1873, and passed away at hospital, Keosauqua, Jan. 12, 1962 at the age of 88 years and 21 days.

He was the last of three children, a brother, Mark Aylor and a sister, Hattie Loring, preceded him in death.

He was united in marriage to Minnie May Beer, June 18, 1905 in the Christian parsonage at Keosauqua by the Rev. W.L. Post. To this union were born two sons, Kermit and Richard Aylor of Keosauqua, and one daughter, Mrs. Daisy Struble of Dodge City, Kans. He was a devoted hubsand(sp) and father. Most of his life was spent in Van Buren county, being an active worker, helping others when help was needed.

His last employment was with Green Bay Lumber Co., working with the late Paul Daughrity. He united with the Christian church of Keosauqua early in life, and always lived a Christian life. He leaves to mourn his death, his three children, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a (remainder missing)
