Mrs. Jessie Garrett

Mrs. Jessie Lucile Garrett, 49, died Monday, Nov. 13 at 8:15 p.m. at the home of her son Wayne in Bloomfield. She had been ill for a year. Death was due to a heart attack.

Daughter of Emmett and Alice Faye Kittle, she was born Dec. 5, 1911 in Milton. On March 3, 1928 she was married to Arthur Garrett of Memphis Mo., who survives as do five sons, William Arthur Garrett of Memphis, Mo., N.C. Garrett of Eldon, Albert S. Garrett of Milton, J. Wayne Garrett of Bloomfield, Larry Garret and a daughter Peggy at home; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Harold Kittle of California, Paul Kittle of Chariton and Tom Houlihan of Milton; four sisters, Rita Foster of Kelly, Dixie Clark of New Sharon, Gertrude Chaplin of Chariton and Kathern Madsen of West Burlington. Her step-father, Thomas Houlihan, also of Milton, survives. Her parents and one brother preceded in death.

She was a member of the Milton Christian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16 at the Milton Christian Church with (remainder missing)....
