Lida Fett

Mrs. Lida Fett, 84, died at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14 in the Farmington Rest Home. She had been in failing health for four years and seriously ill the past two weeks.

Born Sept. 7, 1877, near Argyle she spent her life there and at Donnellson and Fort Madison. She was married on Feb. 21, 1900, to Louis Fett, who died May 29, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dillon.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Nell Schoene, Fort Madison; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Hazel Honadel, died April 24, 1955.

The funeral was held Friday, March 16 at 2:30 p.m. in the Barr Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Fred Dowley officiating. Burial was in the Farmington cemetery near Donnellson.
