MRS. MONTA SORRICK

Mrs. Monta Sorrick, 78, a former Chillicothe resident died at 3 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15 in a hospital at Elgin, Ill.

Born Jan. 18, 1891, at Wayland, Mo., she was the daughter of Wm. B. and Sarah Ann Phillips Ryland. They were former Bonaparte residents. She married Frank H. Sorrick Nov. 7, 1915 at Forest Park. He died Feb. 17, 1967.

Mrs. Sorrick was a former member of Chillicothe First Baptist Church.

Services were at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17 at the Robert Anderson Mortuary with the Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial was in City Cemetery.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Damon Printy of Riverside with whom she had made her home.
