ABRAHAM L. ROSS

Funeral for Abraham Lincoln Ross, 77, was held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the rural Anson community church with burial in the Anson cemetery.

Mr. Ross died early Friday, June 19, in the Sacred Heart hospital at Ft. Madison. His death followed an appendicitis operation. He was born on the Ross farm four miles west of Farmington on Oct. 20, 1864, where he grew to manhood and with relatives went to Hayward, Calif., where he lived until about five years ago when he returned about five years ago when he returned and made his home with relatives. Those surviving are a sister, Mrs. Nellie Story of Nauvoo, Ill., and two brothers' C.S Ross of Los Angeles, Calif., and F.M. Ross of Holden, Mo., the following cousins reside here, Mrs. A.A. Willits, Gertrude Folker, Mrs. Chas. Heath and Fred Folker and Mrs. P.D. Harper of near Granger, Mo.
