MRS. LYLE BALES

Mrs. Viola Bales, age 27, wife of Lyle Bales of Ottumwa, died last Tuesday while in an ambulance on her way to a hospital. Cause of her death was pneumonia and a heart attack. She was a daughter of Oscar and Sylvia Dahlgren and was graduated from Selma high school with the class of 1926.

Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Billie and Melvin Lee both at home, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Dahlgren of Selma, one brother, Charles Dahlgren of Selma, and her grandmother, Mrs. Pottorff of Eldon. One son, Bobbie, preceded her in death in 1933.

Funeral services were held Thursday with interment in Eldon cemetery. Rev. Roy Leeds preached the sermon.
