MRS. SAM WHITAKER

Mrs. Sam Whitaker, age 32, died at Mercy hospital in Iowa City Sunday night at nine o'clock. She had been a patient there several weeks. Funeral services were held at Iowa City on Wednesday morning and at the Hillsboro Christian church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Wilkins of Salem officiating. Interment in the Hillsboro cemetery.

Her maiden name was Leona Semler and she was a graduate of the nurses' training course of the hospital in which she died. She is survived by her husband, four children and other relatives.
