MRS. WILLIAM SPARKS
KEOSAUQUA. -- Mrs. Bertha Rambo Sparks, 73, died Thursday morning at Good Samaritan Home in Ottumwa, where she had been since May.
She was born Aug. 7, 1890, at Leando, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George C. Camblin. She was married in 1908 to Rex Rambo, who died May 27, 1939. She was married Feb. 14, 1957 to William T. Sparks, who survives.
Mrs. Sparks was a member of the Christian Church, OES, American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors besides the widower include two sons, Vinton of near Philadelphia, Pa., and Lawrence of St. Louis; four daughters, Mrs. George Nickle of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Roland Wendell of Elkader, Mrs. Harlan Beatty of Trenton, Ill.; Mrs. Eugene Lawson of Congerville, Ill.; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Via Parks of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Earl Hartzer of Des Moines.
The body is at Burnett-Catcott Funeral Home.
