The Rev. G. Basil Tadlock, pastor, will officiate. The casket will be taken to the church from Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds at noon. Burial will be in Boston Cemetery south of Keosauqua.
The daughter of William and Angeline Drennen Ellis, she was born Aug. 3, 1879, near Keosauqua. Except for 10 years spent in Oklahoma and Missouri, her life was spent in Van Buren County.
Mrs. Barker graduated from Keosauqua High School in 1900 and was a rural school teacher for several years. On Feb. 14, 1906, she was married to Mernice H. Barker at Keosauqua, and he survives.
Also surviving are three sons, William and Ellis, both of Selma; and Joe of Mechanicsville, two daughters, Miss Hazel Barker of Muscatine and Mrs. Maurice Miller of Birmingham; a brother, Charles Ellis of Keosauqua; and five grandchildren. A daughter Jennie Elnora died in early childhood. A brother and three sisters also preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Keosauqua Methodist Church and Twin City Chapter No. 258 OES at Douds. She had been a member of the Keosauqua Rebekah Lodge.
