MRS. A.E. BROWN.

MILTON. - Mrs. A.E. Brown 92, died Friday afternoon at her home in Milton. She had been in failing health five years.

She was Alma Warner, daughter of John and Mary Warner, and was born at Cedar, Mahaska county, November 2, 1859. She was reared there and was married February 22, 1883, to Arthur E. Brown. They moved to Wapello county and in 1910 moved to a farm east of Troy where Mr. Brown died in 1922. In 1936 Mrs. Brown and daughter, Amy, moved to Milton.

Surviving are two daughters, Miss Amy Brown at home and Mrs. Edna Rudkin of Stockton, Calif.; four sons, Walter Brown of Arlington, S.D., John Brown of Council Bluffs, Orley Brown of Cleveland and Howard Brown of Bloomington, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Welch of Oskaloosa; (1?) grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Three sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Milton Methodist church.

The body is at the Wagler funeral home at Bloomfield, where the service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, in charge of the Rev. Harold Harryman of the Milton Methodist church. Burial will be in the Sunnyside cemetery in Milton.
