Mrs. Sarah M. Ruby

Sarah Margaret Craig, daughter of John and Olive Marian Craig, was born at Kilbourne, Iowa, June 27, 1874 and died July 10, 1938, at the age of 64 years, 14 days.

She was married to Grant Ruby November 23, 1893, who preceded her in death in 1935. There was born to this union two sons, one dying in infancy, and she is survived by the other son, Findley James Ruby, and a daughter-in-law, Mildred Cox Ruby. Also four sisters, Mrs. Susie Bish, Mrs. Craig Ruby and Mrs. Mrs. Addie Stoops, all of Keosauqua, and Mrs. Dillie Maxwell of Wauchuia, Florida, also two brothers, Evans Craig of Keosauqua, and Jay Craig of Fairfield.

She was a member of the Stockport Christian church.

She lived the greater part of her married life on the farm three miles west of Stockport, and since the death of her husband she has made her home in Stockport.

Funeral services were held at the Stockport Christian church in charge of the Rev. H.C. Irvine.

Burial at Spencer cemetery.
