THE LIFE STORY OF
MRS. A.A. WELLS

Mrs. A.A. Wells, 74 of Packwood died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 31 at Jefferson County hospital, where she had been a few days. She had been in failing health three years.

She was born Aug. 7, 1884, at Gate City, Va., the daughter of Wise and Sarah Donnellson Gillenwater. She was married Aug. 15, 1902 at Gate City to Mr. Wells who survives. They lived in the Stockport community before moving to Packwood 20 years ago.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Robert Wells of Geneseo, Ill., and Frank Wells of Packwood; two daughters, Mrs. Druzilla Clark of Fairfield and Mrs. Effie Harrington of Phoenix, Ariz., nine grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 3 at 2 p.m., at the Packwood Christian church. Burial was in Packwood.
