J. P. Almond

Funeral services for J. Pearl Almond of Salem were held Monday, Jan, 9th from the Beatty Funeral Chapel, with O. T. Wilson of Mt. Pleasant officiating. Interment in Salem East cemetery with Emile Englehart, W. W. Simkin, Arlo Boss, Errol Conrad, Edgar Hartley and Glen Chatham serving as pallbearers. The music was by Mrs. Gordon Watts organist and Mrs. Delmar Barton soloist.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs Mandel (Dorothy) Watso, Hillsboro; two sons, Ralph of Salem, Lyman of Mt. Pleasant’ three granddaughters, nieces and nephews.

His wife proceeded him in death on Feb, 5th, 1966. Mr. Almond lived his entire life in the Salem community.
