Latest Iowan Killed in Vietnam

The grandson of longtime Keosauqua area residents is one of the latest Iowans reported killed in action in Vietnam.

Army Spec. 4 William Garland Barker, 22, son of Mr. And Mrs. Darrell Barker of Des Moines, was killed in combat Sunday, July 27, his parents were notified last week.

His grandparents were Mr. And Mrs. Webb Barker, who lived in the Mt. Zion area may years.
