A resident of the Libertyville community his entire life, Mr. Mr. Peebler was known and respected man - as a man with whom everyone could place their confidence. A farmer, he knew the problems of rural people, and he efficiently served as a member of the board and had a guiding hand in its policies. He was well known for his efficiency in remembering faces and (???????) prayer at 1:00 o'clock, the funeral was held at Libertyville Methodist church on Friday 28, in charge of Rev. A.M. Smith. He used as his text the story of the Parable of the Talents from Matthew. He spoke of Mr. Peebler's life as a fine example of this. The large attendance at the funeral and the many floral pieces were silent tribute to the esteem in which he was held.

A quartette sang "Going Down the Valley" and "The City Foursquare." A solo, "Now The Day is Over" was sung by George Van Nostrand, County Attorney Members of the quartette, Mrs. Viola Moss, Mrs. Bessie Armstrong, George Van Nostrand and Ed Zuelke.
