DIED. - Dec. 15th, 1876, of dyptheria croup, ANNIE MAY, only daughter of H.M. and E.D. Fishor, of Pilot Grove, Iowa, aged 3 years, 6 months and 11 days.

Our little, playful, blue-eyed pet,
She is no longer here;
Her clear and merry little voice
Will never greet out ears.

Her little, tender, loving form
Is clasped in death's cold arms,
Her ruby lips and little heart
We know is freed from harm.

Now her little chair is empty,
And our hearts are sad and lone,
To think the patter of her tiny feet
Forvermore is gone.

Out little, darling form no more
Will play in childish, glee
Around our lonely fireside,
Our climb upon our knee.

It has not yet been quite three week
Since we laid her away to rest,
And yet it seems almost an age
Since I folded her to my breast.

Oh, Annie May! It seems to us
We ne're can give you up,
Yet know it must be so
But it is a very bitter vup.

But still we know our Savior
Does all things for the best,
And He has taken you from this earth
Up to His pure haven of rest.

And we do know our happy
In your new home above,
And you are singing with the angels
The glad new songs of love.

We will wait and labor on
With the bright crown in view,
Until our Savior calls us home
To swell the song with you.
LIZZIE BOND.
