HELEN BOSTOCK

Helen May, only daughter of Duras and Ida Snyder, was born near Bentonsport, Iowa, April 7, 1902; and passed away at the Ottumwa hospital Tuesday evening April 4, 1933, after five hours of suffering from a fatal accident at the age of 30 years, 11 months and 27 days. She lived all her life near Bentonsport.

Helen graduated from the Keosauqua high school with the class of '21, then taught school for two years.

She was united in marriage with W. O. Bostock on March 31; [sic]1923. Three children came to bless this home, Mary Ida, age 8, Betty Joan age 6, and Charles Otto age 4.

Helen united with the M. E. church in Vernon when about 14 years of age and remained a faithful member until death.

She leaves a heart broken husband and children, father, mother and one brother, Howard, and a host of other relatives and friends, for to know her was to love her. Truly a good wife, mother and friend has gone.

Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon at the late home, Rev. F. M. James of Birmingham, a former pastor at Bentonsport officiating.
