WILLIAM H. RUARK

William Henry Ruark age 67, was born Nov. 10, 1873, at Farmington, Iowa, and died Jan. 24, 1941, after a short illness of pneumonia at his home, 6105 Noble Ave., Hammond, Ind.

Mr. Ruark was born and raised at Farmington where he resided until the year of 1926, when he and his family moved to Hammond, Ind., where he remained a resident.

He was employed at the Cities Service Oil Co. offices, being one of the police force there, and was affiliated with Local 210 of the Oil Workers International Union. He was also a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge at Farmington.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. O.G. Hull of Farmington, Mrs. C.L. Webb of Hammond, Ind., and Clarence of Lansing, Mich.; and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Anderson of West Des Moines, Iowa.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Rosa, two daughters, Jeannette and Clara, and a son, Edgar.

Funeral services were held at Hammond, Ind., Sunday, Jan. 26, at 2 p.m. at Snyder Chapel, and at Farmington Methodist church, Rev. Ellis officiating, Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 2 p.m. Burial at the Farmington cemetery.
