CHRISTIAN W. BUCHHOLZ

Christian William, son of Henry and Elizabeth Buchholz, was born on a farm near Farmington June 2, 1874. After an illness of over a year's duration he departed his life in the Jefferson county hospital at Fairfield Sept. 6, 1933, at the age of 59 years; 3 months and 4 days.

His life was spent on the farm where he was born. He was confirmed in the Evangelical faith in the Farmington church in 1890 at the age of 16 years.

His father died Dec. 26, 1931, and his mother April 5, 1928; a sister, Caroline, died in infancy.

He leaves his brother, John; two sisters, Minnie and Mrs. Henry Schau; a brother-in-law, Henry Schau and one niece, Thelma Schau: with a host of other relatives and friend to mourn his departure.

He was a man of a quiet disposition, a splendid neighbor and friend.

The funeral services were held in the Farmington M.E. church Friday, Sept. 8 at 2 p.m., the Rev. Harvey Butler officiating.
