MRS. LAURA HAWBAKER

Mrs. Laura Hawbaker died Thursday night at her home in Fairfield at the age of 74, having been seriously ill about three weeks. She was born in Van Buren county on June 7, 1863, and was united in marriage with Isaac Hawbaker on Jan. 1, 1888, at Keosauqua. Ten children were born to this union.

The family home was in Van Buren county until they moved to Fairfield in 1919. Her husband and one son preceded her in death.
