LUCY HARMON

Lucy Harmon, daughter of Hiram and Margaret Harmon, was born south of Milton, Iowa, January 13, 1880, and passed away at her home July 27, 1956 at the home July 27, 1956 at the age of 76 years, 6 mo. and 14 days.

Death came after a fall a little more than 2 months ago, resulting in a broken hip.

On February 8, 1903 she was united in marriage to David Lunsford of Milton. To this union were born two children, a son Cecil and a daughter Mabel Allen all of Milton.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, one brother, Marion Harmon.

She is survived by her husband, her daughter and son-in-law, Mabel and Lewis Allen, her son and daughter-in-law, Cecil and Hulda Lunsford, Eileen Allen and Larry Allen, Grayce and Harold Baxter and one great-grandson, John David Baxter. She is also survived by one sister, Bessie Lunsford, three brothers, Joe, John and Tom Harmon all of Milton.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 29, at 2:30 p.m. with Ray Pierson, pastor of the Christian church, officiating.

Burial was in the Brown Cottage Cemetery South of Milton.
