ISABELLE JENKINS

Mrs. Isabell Watman Jenkins, 86, died at her home at 8:40 p.m. Aug. 18. Death terminated a lingering illness.

Mrs. Jenkins was born in Scotland county, Missouri, on Feb. 27, 1869, and was married to Eugene Jenkins on Dec. 2, 1893. They were married at the home of the bride's parents, John Dixon and Virginia Miller Hanan. Jenkins died March 14, 1955.

Mrs. Jenkins had been a resident of Farmington for 60 years.

Surviving are a son, Paul Jenkins, Farmington; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Humphrey, Miami, Fla.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A son, Merle Jenkins, and a daughter, Mrs. Marie Stewart, died previously, as did three brothers: John, James and Edgar Hanan, and two half-brothers, William and Oscar Hanan.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Farmington Methodist church, of which Mrs. Jenkins was a member. The Rev. Donald Arthur officiated. Burial was in Green Glade cemetery.
