CLARE THOMPSON

Clare, daughter of Hiram and Ellen Brown Thompson, was born near Bonaparte, Iowa, June 17, 1873, and died at Broadlawn hospital in Des Moines, Nov. 18, 1944 at the age of 71 years and 5 months.

Her entire life was spent in Iowa except one year in Kansas. For the past 60 years she made her home with her parents until their death about 20 years ago, since which time she lived alone at the home 1603 Walker St. Des Moines.

Surviving are cousins: Dr. I.F. Thompson, Donnellson, Iowa, Mrs. Mary Warner, Bonaparte, Iowa, Mrs. A.A. Blacksmith, West Point, Iowa and Mrs. C.E. Cummings, Bonaparte.

Funeral services were held at Pages funeral home in Bonaparte on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. J.S. Ellis officiating. Interment in Thompson cemetery.
