MRS. GILBERT BELL

Mrs. Gilbert Bell, 46, died Friday Nov. 29 at her home in Ft. Madison after a long illness.

Letha Borman Bell was born Oct. 28, 1900, in Vernon, Iowa, Van Buren county. In 1905 she moved with her parents to Farmington where she lived until her marriage with Gilbert Bell. She attended the Farmington school and later taught school at Farmington. After her marriage, she and her husband lived in Kirksville, Mo. and Donnellson before moving to Ft. Madison.

Mrs. Bell was a member of the Farmington Baptist church, the Eastern Star Artaban Chapter 483 of Donnellson, and the Fidelity Society of Ft. Madison.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Clay Grove Methodist church with Dr. Walter L. Turney officiating. Burial was in Clay Grove cemetery.

Surviving are her husband, Gilbert Bell; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Borman of Ft. Madison.
