William D. Borman

William Daniel Borman, son of August and Caroline Borman, was born in Lee county near Farmington, August 14, 1880, where he grew to manhood. The family home was the farm now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Chester Cazey. He was one of a family of ten children. His death occurred Nov. 21 ten miles south of Des Moines and the body was brought to the Bowles Funeral Home in Farmington Thursday night.

Surviving are three brothers, Fred of Ft. Madison, Henry of Davenport and John of Santa Monica, Calif.; and three sisters, Augusta Nicholson and Martha Henshaw of Farmington and Hannah Woods of Kansas City, Mo.

Mr. Borman had been in failing health for some time but was seriously ill only a few days of heart ailment when death came at the age of 66 years, 3 months and 7 days. He was a hard worker and had been employed as a timber man and for several years worked for the C.B.&Q. railroad. In early life he united with the First Baptist church of Farmington.

Funeral services were conducted in the Farmington Baptist church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. John S. Ellis. Burial was in Farmington cemetery.
