George Platt Dead.

George Platt, who was 75 years old the 12th of last March, died at his home near Mt. Zion, Monday April 18, 1898, after three weeks sickness and was buried in Purdom cemetery at Keosauqua the following day. He was a quiet, industrious citizen, having the respect of all his acquaintances. He was born near Mansfield, Ohio, and came to Keosauqua in 1841. His second wife survives along with her seven children; also Arthur Platt, son of his first wife.
