Earl George Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Asa Jones, was born May 9, 1918, and died January 26, 1919, aged 8 months and 17 days, after a short illness of pneumonia. He was a bright, cheerful, curly-headed little baby, always responding with a smile and showing his baby delight at every attention paid him. He was his mother's joy and father's pride. Never more will he extend those chubby hands and his blue eyes shine a welcome to those to who he was most dear. God has called him home. The funeral services was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. G.W. Holmes, assisted by Rev. T.O. Hill.
