F.P. Martin Dies Monday

F.P. Martin, route 2, died at his home at 11 o'clock Monday morning. He was 64 years old, and had been ill since last Thanksgiving.

Born April 14, 1874, in this county, he had been a resident of Jefferson county most of his life, except for fie(five) years spent in Henry county. He married Zee Huston on February 4, 1903, at Fairfield.

Surviving are his wife and one son, Elton of Lockridge. Also surviving are two half brothers, Bert and Ray Martin of Kilbourne, and three half sisters, Mrs. David Catcott of Kilbourne, Mrs. Sam Hinning of Floris, and Mrs. Bert Cross of Hedrick. A sister, Mrs. William Doley, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Glasgow at 2:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, with burial in the Glasgow cemetery.
