KILLED BY LIGHTNING WHILE IN WHEAT FIELD
Last week Mr. John Brown of this place received word from his daughter at Wineta, Okla., that her husband, E.L. Holden, had been killed by lightning July 12 while working in a wheat field. The first intimation that Mrs. Holden had that anything had happened was when the team came to the house without a driver, and on going to the field she found his dead body. He was the father of two young girls who were drowned while wading in a pond alone two years ago, an accounted which was given in these columns at the time.
