-Mrs. Rachel Dennan, wife of J.A. Dennan of Des Moines township, whose death was announced last week was not buried here as at first intended, the interment being in the Harness cemetery at Mt. Sterling. Her funeral was the first held in the new M.E. church at Mt. Sterling. Mrs. Dennan was 75 years of age. She was a sister of James A. Alcorn, deceased, and Mrs. D.W. Ferguson. After her marriage here after the war, they removed to Pennsylvania and from there to Ohio, and came back to this county about 20 years ago. Mr. Dennan was very ill at the time of his wife's death, and is still very low, not being expected to live through the week. He has kidney trouble.
