LEE E. ARNOLD DIES IN BONAPARTE

Lee Ernest Arnold, son of W.H. and Emma Arnold was born Sept. 7, 1879 near Keosauqua, Van Buren county, and died at the Fergeson nursing home in Bonaparte, April 19, at the age of 71 years, seven months and 12 days.

On Aug. 19, 1914 he was united in marriage to Ada Belle Bishop, who preceded him in death May 19, 1943 near Glenwood Springs, Colo.

With the exception of about two years in Colorado, his entire life was spent in or near Keosauqua.

Early in life he united with the Christian church in Keosauqua.

He is survived by one sister, Edith Stonebraker of Boulder, Colo., one brother, Vern E. Arnold of Monmouth, Ill., several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Burnett-Catcott funeral home in Keosauqua Sunday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. John Ballinsky. Burial was in Purdom cemetery.
