SERVICES TODAY FOR JOHN A. JONES

Selma, Feb. 12 - John A. Jones 74, died Monday morning at his home in Selma. He suffered a heart attack on Wednesday.

He was a retired grocery man having been engaged in the merchantile business in Selma for a number of years. He was a member of the Selma Methodist church and Odd Fellows lodge. He is survived by his widow, Mary. The couples marriage took place February 28, 1906. Three sisters survive, Mrs. Corda Murphy of Chicago, Mrs. Mae Stearns of Eldon and Mrs. Jannie Johnson, of Fairfield. One brother, Harry Jones of Montana. His parents and one brother, Orlando, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Methodist church. The Pastor the Rev. Robert Farr officiating. Burial was in Iowaville cemetery.
