Former Resident Dies Friday Night

Mrs. John Sweazey, 52, a native of Fort Madison, died at 6 p.m. Friday in Seattle, Wash.

The former Muriel Gaston, she was born here in 1894 and graduated from the public high school in 1913. Later she taught at Galland and in the Muscatine school system. She last visited here about a year ago.

Survivors

Survivors include her husband, three children, Audrey, John, Jr., and Donald, as well as a number of cousins here.

Funeral services and burial will be at Seattle Monday.
