MRS. MILLIE GASTON

Millie Susan DeHart, daughter of George and Margaret Shriver DeHart was born April 5, 1876 on the old Homestead near Keosauqua and passed away August 15, 1955, at her home in Keosauqua, Iowa, after a lingering illness.

On September 21, 1189, she was united in marriage with William L. Gaston. To this union were born three children, Beryl, who passed away in 1918 at the age of 18 years; George and Keith.

As a young girl she accepted Jesus as her Savior and became a member of the Center Chapel Methodist church and was a faithful member throughout her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Georgia Mounce of near Bonaparte, her son Keith Gaston of near Keosauqua, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, her parents, one sister and four brothers.

She was a faithful and loving wife and a devoted mother of her children. No task was too great for her to undertake in their behalf or for her relatives and friends. All who knew her were inspired by her gently and kindly spirit.

Funeral services were held at the Center Chapel Methodist church at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday August 17, with the Rev. William D. Hudson in charge.
