Mrs. Charles S. Bowen

Funeral services for Mrs. Charles A. Bowen, 88, former Fort Madison resident, who died Sunday, April 19, in St. Joseph hospital, St. Joseph, Mo., will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Calvary First Assembly of God church with the Rev. Ben Brumback officiating. The Shrine of Peace Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.

Mrs. Bowen was born Feb. 16, 1893, at Odell, Neb. She was a graduate of Coe College, Cedar Rapids and was a former teacher. She was a member of the First Christian church in Fort Madison.

She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Chester (Dorothy I.) Burgener of St. Joseph, Mo.; a grandchild and two great grandchildren.

Her parents were Charles Wesely and Mary Arminta Graves Gaston.
