Mrs. Minnie Gaston

FORT MADISON - Mrs. Minnie Gaston, 85, of 2218 Ave. D, died at 10:30 a.m. Friday in her home. She had been a resident of Fort Madison for 62 years. She was the widow of Charles Gaston whom she married March 26, 1892, at Odell, Nebr. He died April 8, 1946.

Surviving are a son, Chester W. of Des Moines; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Bowen, Fort Madison; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Clements chapel with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park cemetery.
