C.W. GASTON DIES TODAY

Charles Wesley Gaston, 85, 1818 Avenue H, died at 2:50 today in his home after an illness of one year.

Born Nov. 22, 1869 at Vernon, Iowa, he had lived here for 50 years. He was married to Mary Minnie Graves March 27, 1892, at Odell, Neb. He worked at the Hinde & Dauche paper mill.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Clements Chapel with Dr. S.C. Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Chester Gaston, West Des Moines; one daughter, Mrs. Charles A. Bowen, Fort Madison; and two grandchildren.
