CHESTER GASTON

Services for Chester Gaston, 86, of 115 Third St. in West Des Moines, who died of a kidney ailment Thursday at Des Moines General Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in West Des Moines. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.

Mr. Gaston was born in Fort Madison and resided in West Des Moines 69 years. He retired in 1965 as a stationary engineer for Ford Motor Co. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include one son, James of West Des Moines; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas More Center for All Seasons in Perry.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at McLaren's Resthaven Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
