Otto Thomas

Otto Thomas, 74, farmer of near Keosauqua, died at 9:45 a.m. Monday at Memorial hospital, Keosauqua. He had been ill health and had spent some time at University hospital at Iowa City.

He was born in Van Buren county March 4, 1886, the son of Reuben and Mary Patterson Thomas. He was married to Anna Parcie of Des Moines, who survives. He also leaves a son Cecil at home and two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Hole and Mrs. Gordon Forrest of California, also a brother, Harvey Thomas of near Keosauqua. He was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at the Burnett-Catcott funeral home, Keosauqua, with the Rev. John Ballensky officiating. Burial was in the Pittsburg cemetery.
