The sad intelligence came Monday morning of the death of Mrs. Chas. Dickson of Henry township. Mrs. Dickson was the youngest daughter of the late William Gaston and was about thirty-nine years old. Her death was the result of puerpural(sp) fever. She leaves a husband and three children, besides a mother and several brothers and a sister to mourn their loss. The funeral was on held Tuesday, June 26. Geo. and Wm. Gaston of Ft. Madison, brothers of Mrs. Dickson, were called her by the recent illness of their sister, and were present at her bedside when the sad end came. Mrs. J.C. Murphy of Ft. Madison, a sister of decedent, was also present at the side of her sister before and at her demise.
