Laura L. Copple

Mrs. Laura L. Copple, 621 E. 8th, died this morning at 7:58 at William Newton Memorial Hospital. She was 89 years old and a lifetime resident of this area.

She was born April 22, 1880, the daughter of Oliver and Mary Pratt. She married Robert L. Copple on April 20, 1899, who preceded her in death in July, 1945.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary M. Vaughn, Elk City; Mrs. Ruth O'Neil, Winfield; one son, Lee, Winfield; one sister, Mrs. Estella Hagan, Winfield; thirteen grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Swisher-Taylor Chapel. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
