Charles P. Madden

Charles P. Madden, 70, a native of Van Buren county and a lifelong resident of Mt. Sterling community, died Thursday morning, Feb. 4, at his home. He was a retired farmer. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Center Chapel.

He was united in marriage with Miss Mamie Gaston, who survives, also one daughter, Mrs. Jo Edd Daggs of Arbela, Mo., one son, Stanley of Mt. Pleasant; and four brothers, Henry and William of Mt. Sterling, John R. of Keosauqua and Frank of Boulder, Colo.
