MRS. B. O. BOYER

Martha Emeline Fine, the seventh child of Alfred and Mary E. Fine, was born in northeastern Missouri April 27, 1862, and departed this life at her late home near Brooker, Texas, May 23, 1935, her age being 73 years and 26 days.

At the age of 10 she was deprived of the love and tender care of her mother by death, and some [sic] later occurred the death of her father.

Feb. 22, 1882, she was united in marriage to Benjamin O. Boyer, and to this union were born four children, Orr, Dorr, Beulah and Gladys.

In the year 1901 these parents were converted in the faith of Lord Jesus Christ and affiliated themselves with the Methodist church in which they remained faithful unto the end.

Dec. 17, 1933, this husband and father was called home to his reward at the ripe age of 80, there waiting the coming of the wife and mother. Other than the children there remain to mourn the departure of Grandma Boyer, one sister, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a host of other relatives, neighbors and friends.

O.J. Boyer of Farmington attended the funeral services which were held on Sunday, May 26, at Brooker, Texas.
