Danny Ray Cocherell, 57, of Farmington, IA, passed away at 12:10 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016, at his home in Farmington.

Born June 2, 1958, in Keosauqua, IA, the son of Billy Joe and Cleta Grace (Nelson) Cocherell. On September 1, 1979, he married Lena Deao in Farmington, IA.

Survivors include his wife Lena of Farmington, one sister, Cathy Cocherell of Farmington, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Danny was a graduate of Harmony High School. He worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting arrowheads and being with friends.

His body has been entrusted to the Schmitz Funeral Home for cremation.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Greenglade Cemetery in Farmington, IA.

The Schmitz Funeral Home in Farmington is assisting the family with arrangements.
