Gerald F. Corman, 68, of Cantril died at 4:26 A.M. Thursday April 28, 2016, at Keosauqua Health Care Center.

In accord with his wishes Gerald's body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, is assisting the family.

Gerald F. Corman, 68, of Cantril died at 4:26 A.M. Thursday April 28, 2016 at Keosauqua Health Care Center. He was born May 5, 1947 in Burlington to Fred and Frankie Maxine Robbins Corman. He grew up in Burlington, lived many years in Mt. Sterling and recently moved to Cantril. He married Nancy Diewold who preceded him in death. Gerald was employed as a truck driver for Golden Furrow, had owned and operated Jerry’s Bar & Grill in Mt. Sterling, and had worked at the Iowa Army Ammunitions Plant, Burlington. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and NASCAR racing fan.

Surviving are five daughters, Melody Brewer of Mt. Sterling, Becky Beal of Burlington, Dawn Corman of Peoria, IL and Nevellie “Nicki” Corman (Kyle Wiley) of Cantril, a son, Eddie Wasson of Burlington, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three brothers, Mike Corman of Burlington, Bob Corman of Keosauqua and Joe Corman in Arkansas and two sisters, Carolyn Bliss and Pam McGaw both of Burlington. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Marvin and Randy Corman and two sons, Charles and Dewy Wasson and a daughter, Tammy Corman.

In accord with his wishes Gerald’s body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua is assisting the family.
