Larry Edwin Lowe, 68, of Marshalltown, IA, died of cancer Monday, March 5, 2007, at the Veterans Medical Center, Des Moines.

Born June 28, 1938 in Bonaparte, he was the son of Percy and Mary Johnson Lowe.

He was a 1956 graduate of Bonaparte High School and served in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1962 including two years in Japan. Larry was a fanatic St. Louis Cardinal and Iowa Hawkeye fan. He was able to attend his first World Series game this past October.

Survivors include a sister, Karen Duncan of Mt. Pleasant and a brother Rich of Keosauqua as well as 16 nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

His remains were cremated. A graveside memorial service and inurnment will be in Bonaparte cemetery at a date to be announced.

Memorials may be made to the Bonaparte Cemetery Association.
