WILLIAM J.D. PRICE

William J.D. Price was born Jan. 20, 1903, the son of William Cyrus and Effie Higgdon Price, and passed away Thursday, Aug. 31, 1967.

In April, 1924, he was married to Teressa Wellborn, to this union was born one son, William R. Price of Keokuk, Iowa. Mrs. Price passed away Oct. 5, 1959. On March 12, 1961 he was married to Jessie Marie Price, who survives.

Also surviving are the son; one step-daughter, Mrs. Virginia Pomeroy and husband of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; one grandson, Ray Price; two step grandchildren, Mike and Marsha Pomeroy; three sisters, Mrs. Cleo Madden, Mrs. Aneth Burchett and Mrs. Elma Vance, all of Milton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Robinson and two brothers, Earl and Craig.

He had farmed all his life in the Milton Community and was a 50-year member of the Milton Christian Church.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 3 with Harold Bray, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery.
