CHARLES KRENMEYER

Charles Krenmyer, an aged citizen of Farmington, died at eleven o'clock Monday forenoon, Sept. 30, after an illness extending over several years, and having its origin in a stroke of paralysis.

Mr. Krenmyer was born in Van Buren county in 1850, and had made his home in and around Farmington his entire life. In his early life he was a farmer, but was known to most people in and around Farmington as a teamster. He was esteemed and respected and a good citizen. Since the death of his wife several years ago he had made his home most of the time with his daughter, Mrs. Mate Wolf, and husband, and it was at the Wolf home he died. He is survived by six daughters: Mrs. George Lowrey, Mrs. George Loeffler and Mrs. Wolf of Farmington; Mrs. Della Sowers of Ft. Madison, Mrs. Otto Meredith of Bonaparte, and Mrs. Hazel Billicks of Rockford, Ill. A son, Carl, died about fifteen years ago.

Funeral services were held at the M.E. church in Farmington at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 1, conducted by Rev. W.M. Doughty, the pastor. Interment in Farmington cemetery.
