Mrs. Ranard Rites

FAIRFIELD. - The funeral for Mrs. Mabel C. Ranard, 75, who died Thursday at Mount Pleasant, will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Weston Behner Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Swanson, pastor of the Nazarene Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Born Nov. 5, 1888, in Van Buren County she was the daughter of Isaac and Laura Hawbaker. She was a lifelong resident of Jefferson and Van Buren counties.

She was married in 1907 to Joseph Walker Ranard, who died May 28, 1944.

She was a member of the Nazarene Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Harold Allison of Parma, Mich., Mrs. Richard Magee of Ypsilanti, Mich., Mrs. John Martin of Moline, Ill., and Mrs. Edward Zurcher of Lynn Center, Ill.; six sons, Clyde of Lynn Haven, Fla., John of Lynn Center, Ill., Kenneth, Grover, Walter and Gayle, all of Fairfield; six sisters, Mrs. Beulah Turner of Texas, Mrs. Rose King and Mrs. Ella Bishop, both of Ottumwa, Mrs. Pearl Kruger of Batavia, Mrs. Florence Riley of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Anna Snook of Fairfield; and one brother, Aaron Hawbaker of Ottumwa.
